Navigation & Audio Replacing HK amp with E46's HK amp - Works!
A drawing of the rear interconnect board (RIC) is attached. I think this view is from the rear, or outside of the amplifier. The Mini's wiring harness connects to the RIC through P1 and the PCB connects through S1 and S2. The RIC is a multi-layer PCB that makes the connections between P1 and S1/S2. The shorting connections mentioned in merongi's posting, 8 to 9, 16 to 17, 29 to 30, and 37 to 38 are P1 connections which can be made to the back side of the P1 connector on the RIC. These are shown as red connections on the figure.
You shouldn't have to remove the amplifier board from the housing - only the RIC. It has been a while since I did this and I am just digging through my old documentation so I suggest you double check the pin numbers on the P1 connector to be sure that the figure is correct with the posted modification.

Re-programing HK amplifier
Hi all,
I know this is an old thread and for R50 Mini. I have a 2010 R56 with HK system and have no sound. Found a used amplifier to replace but need to know how to scan/program the replacement amplifier.
Thanks-Giorgio
