Navigation & Audio iPhone 4 streaming issue with 2008 MCS
iPhone 4 streaming issue with 2008 MCS
I have a 2008 MCS with the Bluetooth/iPod and the MINI Boost CD stereo. Nothing too fancy. It plays music off my iPhone wonderfully, and I just learned that when I want to shuffle, to use RND for random. Here's my question though. When I want to listen to music, all is well. But when I want to listen to a baseball game on MLB at Bat or ESPN Radio on their app, my iPhone 4/MINI and I get into a bit of a fight. I tell the phone to play, and it queues up and buffers, but right when it's about to play, the MINI switches back to music, cutting off the buffering. It's really aggravating. Is there any way to fix or alleviate this? I know I don't have MINI Connected, but I'd still really like to be able to listen to my baseball games and ESPN Radio, especially with the long trip to Western NY I have planned for later this year.
Thanks in advance!

Simple solution, use the Aux In. Yes you lose control over the iPhone but if you really just want to listen to an app, that's what works. I had a similar issue when I wanted to make a Skype call through my MINI..it kinda worked, lol.
