Navigation & Audio Speaker mount sizes

What sizes are the standard speaker mounts in the MINI? I've read the earlier thread stating that the fronts are about 5.25 inches and that you can fit a 6.5 speaker in there if you have can set up the proper spacer and adapter. Is it the same for the rear speakers?
