2005 audio help with navigation

I have looked at replacement head units on Crutchfield and noticed they all state that my navigation will no longer work. I have the HK system with navigation and stock ipod control. I want to add a HU that will work with my steering wheel and not make my navigation screen go away. I have searched on here to no avail, any help would be awesome.

I think your nav will still work with a aftermarket head unit,( mine works fine but I did not have the HK system) however you will not have any voice coming out of the unit. There is a adaptor you can buy that will give you voice back, I think you have to order it from a place in England.

I guess another question I have is I like the sound of the H/K system and the ipod control that came with the car and the navigation, but the control of my ipod touch is horrible as the best I can do is play random songs. The controls arent that user friendly also. I see that I need an adaptor of some type if I want to use an aftermarket head unit if I want to continue to use the amp. I also want to hook up my sirius, will this dice thing do the trick?
