iPod and sirius at the same time?

I had Sirius installed on my 05 McS and had recently installed a factory iPod kit. Since then my Sirius has no volume. Mini and the installer said it only has the option to plug one or the other in? 1st question. Was the 2005 McS not offered with both Sirius and iPod options?

2nd, can I not get a adapter they can use on a stock head unit that will allow me to have the iPod and Sirius to work together? Or a switch I can turn that will allow one or the other to work rather then pull the head unit out

I really do not know but does using the CD adapter allow you to connect the iPod adapter?

Yep, there was an adapter made for this. It's listed in the official Mini parts list, 65 11 0 395 150. $15.00 (circa 2006). Probably just a simple Y-splitter.
