CD inserted but no CD in system

I have an 03S (stock stereo)and while I was driving I hit a bump in the road at the same time I was inserting a CD. Now my CD player thinks there is a CD inserted when there is not. Any suggestions? I pushed the eject button but it does not eject. Is there some sort of reset button on the back? If I can not fix it, is it possible to hook my IPOD up to it? If so how?

Thanks!

Your best bet is to unplug the rear connector - that should 'reset' it.
Depending on the build date, you can use several methods to hook up the ipod. Do a search on 'aux in' - this is an OEM wire that plugs into the back and provides a female plug for the ipod.
