universal Bluetooth kit

I have a 2010 R56(Camden) and now I live in South Korea.
And I really want to install universal Bluetooth kit.

1) Bluetooth retrofit kit (6ND)
- Part #; 65412152530
- Official Price; $209.95
2) Hands-free charging electronics (control mod.)
- Part #; 84109207360
- Official Price; $429.43

But in case of our country, our official dealer and service center never provide installing service.
So I thought that my only way is I have to find 3rd party service provider instead of official provider.

But problem is maybe they can do it only hardware installing. It means they cannot update any software such as ECU update.

Here is my question…..Does it needs ECU update for Bluetooth installing?
Otherwise it works well only hardware installing?

Please help me!!!

You will have to have the car re-programmed for the OEM bluetooth to work.

But i do not understand why the dealer service center will not do the install of the parts. That is where they can make money.

You can do the programming yourself if you are brave and want to spend a few hundred more dollars. Refer to this thread:

Also, if you want the ipod cable refer to my post here, and also double-check your control part number, I think it may have been updated as I have a different part number listed:

strobeyprobey and schatzy62, I really thanks for your information and advise.

But here is bad news for me....

Our dealer and authorized service center told me that in case of Korea model, it's different from US model and it's same as european UK model.
And they also said me that in case of european model, there is no bluetooth model and it cannot install US bluetooth kit/module because it has different code from US model and it's impossible to install any US programming.
Is it true?

Absolutely not true. I have three friends in Europe that have bluetooth in the car. 2 in England and 1 in Germany.

I do not have access to the parts locator right now but when I get a chance I will post back with the correct part numbers for you.
