carpet removal

I was unable to find any documentation, so figured I would post.

I am gutting the car, and think I need to take out part of the dash to get out the carpet, but I am not sure. anyone got clarification?

Thanks!

Do a search for sound deadening. I know I've seen threads about removing the carpet under that discussion.

What are you trying to remove the carpet for?

The carpet is attached to foam, which makes it difficult to move around. I sound deadened the floor, and I had to lift up the carpet and hold it up with a stick so I could get the sound deadening on. Good luck with the project...
