HIFI Frequency Response vs Volume

I was up at a local stereo shop and they were indicating that there is some low frequency cutoff as the volume increases. To fix this they said an audio process or was needed. Any truth to this? Has anybody tested HIFI frequency response at various volumes?

If this is true will the cleansweep, 3.sixty of Alpine processors deal with this? The clean sweep sounds as though it correct at one particular volume. The other two I am not sure about.

I have tested the HiFi at various volume levels and there is no change in the frequency response at different volumes.

They all work generally the same and have a correction response but none of them will change with a change in volume.

With the Base System there is a very distinctive roll of from 100Hz down on the rear channels and on the HiFi system that is not the case. There is a slight roll off but nothing really dramatic like on the base system.
