I'd like to improve my sound system in my 2005 R50, already fitted i have a blaupunkt woodstock HeadUnit which has a 4X50W output to the front components and rears

I have been advised by an car audio specialist to install a good quality amp to power the speakers, to get a 4 channel amp to power them isntead of the Headunit powering them..unfortunatly they wanted a hefty price

Looking on the internet i hahve found a good quality InPhase IPX1004 4 channel amp which is a 1200W amp on sale for £130..down from £250

Would this make a significant and cost benefit sound difference with the standard speakers?
