CD Changer Connection Location

Hey guys,
So i've got an April 02 MCS, and I'm trying to get an ipod hookup. From searching on the forums it appears a lot of the options hook up to the CD Changer wires in the boot. I just went and looked around for a few minutes and I didnt see any such wires. Where should these wires be, and would the be "hidden" in any way? Is it possible my car doesnt have them...and if so, how can I be sure? Thanks.

TL;DR
Where exactly would I find my CD Changer connection in the boot? I picture would be worth a thousand words. Thanks.

There are vertical access panels on each side of the boot area. The CD changer connections are behind the panel on the US passenger side.

Are they "hidden" in there in any way, or should it be obvious?

The wires have tape around them, but in my 03, the plug is pretty obvious.

The easiest is add the aux in from outmotoring .... $40 and 15 minutes and you have a plug up front

I've got an April '02...the Aux isnt an option for me, unfortunately. And I dont think I have the CD changer connection in my boot either.

Looks like i'll be sticking with my crappy old FM Transmitter.

From memory, the CD changer plug was an original factory option, available on the UK 2001 cars. If I get a chance this weekend, I'll take a pic of the location of mine & post it on Tuesday.

I've got an early 02 MCS like you. I had a factory cd changer, so I can tell you that the wire was tucked into the right side panel in the boot under the trunk liner.

I hated not having the ability to add an aux, so I just went aftermarket on the radio, it seemed a lot easier.

I know when I installed my satellite radio, with an adapter (XM), it plugged into the CD changer harness. Mine was hard to find. Reach up inside the access panel in the trunk, in the passenger side. If i remember mine was wrapped around the bundle of wires that go to the brake lights......way off to the side. Look inside with a flash light....it took me a couple of times to find mine.
