I would just tape up the ends of the second set sot hat there is no way for them to short out against anything.

Adding a second set of Speakers? In most cases this would just cause and overload of the amp or make the sound output just very bad sounding, i.e. overbearing mids or highs and low base response.

That would be your best bet as long as you are okay with the bluetooh/cell going thru the rear.

If you have the Base System then you could use either the 4" or the 6.5" wires as they carry the same information.
Really, no low-pass filter on the lower door speaker?

If you have the HiFi then you do not want to use a crossover as the crossover is built into the amp.
I thought the upper speaker got full range and the lower had a low-pass filter in the HIFI.

If you have the Base System you will get freqs below 100 hz now to the front channels and this will make the system sound better.
Don't you mean, after the swap you will get freqs below 100Hz to the rear speakers, and not get freqs below 100Hz to the fronts?

Its more of a budget and modification spread. I just did my lumbard support. I don't want to rush through my projects.

No there is NO filter. Both speakers in each door of the Standard system get full range.

No thru all the testing that ktrm6 and i have done we have always found a roll of below 100 hz on the mid/high channels of the HiFi System.

That is correct my mistake on getting that backwards.

Infinity Reference are 93dB, Infinity Kappa are 95-96dB depending on 6x9 or 6.5
