Ipod song resume / bookmark
I have an 07 R56 with the Ipod integration kit (cable in the glovebox) and I've had some odd behavior. When listening to podcasts or songs, sometimes I can turn off the car, remove the Ipod then put it back, start the car and the song resumes playing. This only works once in a while though and not for most songs. I can't find anything different about the ones that do this nor the settings for those songs.
Does anyone know if there is a way to bookmark songs or has anyone seem a bookmark or resume feature with the Ipod integration kit? I've looked everywhere and nobody has seemed to mention it.

Bump
Nobody responded to the original post so I wanted to bump the question. I have some additional information about the issue: If the iPod is synced with itunes, song/track resume works even after removing the iPod from the car. If the iPod is synced with Winamp (and possibly other software), songs are not bookmarked when removing from the car.
Has anyone else noticed this or does anyone have a solution? I've done a lot of web searches without any answers although I've seen a few people with similar questions.

There's an option for each song in iTunes, to "Remeber playback position". If that's set the song will always resume from where it left off. I've set that on on all my songs so its not continually restarting from the beginning (which was driving me crazy).
Btwx, thanks for the reply. The problem I'm having is actually with Winamp syncing the iPod instead of iTunes but there is a similar setting in Winamp. I've re-synced with that setting on but now Boomer is at the dealer getting a full timing chain rebuild thanks to the "rattle of death". I'll try it out as soon as she gets back.
Cheers
