I heard somewhere that if you have the dealer Sirius kit installed, than you cannot install the IPOD MOST kit...Is there any truth in this? The configurator on MINIUSA also seems to demonstrate this....Anyone out there with both factory/dealer Sirius and integrated IPOD kit?

 

I do not believe this is true.

iPod intergration (in secret compartment) uses the CD changer input

USB iPod uses its own input.

both of these then allow for sat radio to be installed as far as i know as it uses a different input.

 

This is what I was thinking as well. So nobody with Sirius and the integrated Ipod? I think GBMINI might have had it on his car...

 

The dealer installed iPod and Sirius kits might both use the CD changer input. I don't know about the R56, but the R53 version of Sirius did use CD changer input.

GBMINI owned an R56 for only a couple of months, and he usually installs aftermarket audio components.
