Navigation & Audio Nav voice input
Nav voice input
Hello from Athens
I can really use your help.
I have a 2006 Mcs without navigation.
I want to install an aftermarkt gps system and i want to use nav voice input of boost cd so whenever the system tells me the directions, the radio or the cd will automute.
From what i have seen from photos or people told, the navigation voice uses two pins.
I bought from my dealer 2 pins with cables and i connected them to pin number 5 and 11 on the CB891-C corresponding to nav+ and nav-

On the other end i made a monophonic minijack and i connected it with a walkman to test it but the radio did not automute

What am i doing wrong and the automute does not work.
Do you think in needs some kind of resistor just like the auxiliary cable?
Thanks in advance
Nick
