HELP - XM Radio - no audio - FIXED!

I just installed the XMD1000 and the BlitzSafe BMW/XMD101 in my 06 R50 with the standard head unit. I can see the channels on the head unit screen but I'm not getting any sound. I've been on the phone with XM and they tell me I'm receiving the signal, so it must be the connections. Everything is plugged in properly and securely. I bought the XMD1000 and Blitzsafe from another NAM member. Are these units fully compatible with the 06 radios?
Any help would be fantastic.
Thanks.

Talked with Blitzsafe. The XMD101 does not work with the factory installed Ipod cable. I have to pull the radio and unplug the ipod cable, and plug the cd changer cables back in. Blitzsafe said they can modify my XMD101 if I want to use the ipod as well. Going to try the no-ipod route first.

Done! Thanks to Ira at Blitzsafe for the tutorial. Took ten minutes to pull the radio unplug the ipod connection, plug in the XM connection and reintsall the radio. Lost my Ipod for now, but have fully functional oem XM.

I have the same setup as you do for XM. I am running the MINI aux adapter with my Ipod. No issues for me. I hope that helps somehow.
