Wondering if this has happened to anyone.

08 Clubman, iPhone 3G.

Have been using the Bluetooth successfully for several months. All of a sudden, a few weeks ago, the Bluetooth stopped working. They are paired, the phone numbers/phone book are visible through the OBC screen.

I select a number to make a call, it attempts to make the call, when all of a sudden I lose network signal on my iPhone. The call fails. iPhone then says "Searching" for network for a few mins, and reconnects. Once it's back on network, I try again and it does the same thing. Disconnects me from the network.

I have tried deleting the pair and re-pairing. (at least half a dozen times). Tried resetting the iPhone. Neither of these two things have helped.

Any ideas?

has your phone had a software upgrade recently. This could cause the problem.

I would suggest that if you can try it with another Mini, I know you have friends that have them, we all do. See if you can get it to work with another Mini or two. If it does not work properly with them then it is the phone. if you can get it to work properly with other Mini's then have teh dealer look into it.

LadyG,

Has your problem been resolved. If so can you tell us what needed to be done.

Thanks

It hasn't been resolved. It's apparently the phone.

Gotta call Apple and have them do a restore with the iPhone and see if that works. Grrrrrr

Will let ya know!
