TomTom Go920 Suction Cupped to Speedo?

I have a Tom Tom Go 920. I have it mounted to the windshield, but it is in the line of sight for shorter drivers. I have tried to push it on to the right hand side of the speedo, but have not been able to get it to stick. It will stick for a while then fall off. (Not good for the GPS!)

The Tom Tom suction cut is a one with circular plastic sprin tabs over the cup and takes pressure to get it to seal. I'm afraid of pushing harder for fear of breaking the speedo plastic face.

Has anyone gotten the suction mount to stick on the speedo and do you have any tricks? I DON'T want to break that plastic that covers the speedo. I know a Kuda mount would solve everything, but I want the GPS to travel between our cars.

A Kuda mount would be your best bet, and get the proper mount to mount it to the Kuda mount.

Then to move it to another car you already have the suction mount that you are not using in the mini, so all you need is an extra power cord.

A big thumbs up to Schartzys post. The Kuda mount is the only way to go for an aftermarket Nav
