iPhone Aux cable

Silly question, but where can I buy one. It's my understanding that the hole design prevents standard aux cables from working. So I've looked online. Very little luck short of spending way too much.

PS: hate the retractable kind...just looking for a simple one piece cable.

Ideas?

Thanks

Standard cables work fine with the 3G iPhone. Go to Radio Shack.

If you have an original iPhone, the Apple Store carries a converter that will allow you to attach the cable that you will get from Radio Shack.

Then a standard stereo male-to-male cable from Radio Shack will work just fine.

Yep - and a little google searching will find many online sources for other types of cables in various lengths - I got a skinnier cable the right length with small right angle plugs dirt cheap from somewhere - looks much cleaner IMHO.

Yes - that's true for original iPhones -but Apple changed the jack on the 3G to work with regular headphones and aux cables... at least it does with mine...
