For those that had the first iPhone and used a mount in your car (ProClip Padded with tilt/swivel or similar), have you upgraded to the iPhone 3G and does the new iPhone fit into the mount built for the first generation iPhone?

I have the new iPhone and installed the Kuda downtube mount, I just need a device holder and I'm wondering if there is enough of a difference in shape of the two iPhones that it makes the old mounts not work with the new phones.

If the existing mount works, I'll buy one immediately, if not, I'll just have to wait.

not exactly what you asked for but I just got the proclip adjustable one designed for orig iphone with a silicone sleeve and it fits my iPhone 3g with belkin sleeve perfectly
