MINI + Samsung Blackjack = Screen always on?

I have a Samsung Blackjack (the first model, with the official Windows Mobile 6 update) paired with my R56. I cannot get the screen to turn off and stay off when the bluetooth connects for handsfree calling. The screen just keeps turning on and off every minute or so which drains the battery if not plugged into a charger. Does anybody else have this phone and same issue? Any body else with a Windows Mobile 6 phone have the same issue?

Not actually having this phone i am not sure that this is the answer.

The bluethooth functions on software, and being a Microsoft product, it probably turns the screen on thinking it (the screen) needs to be active for the user. Microsoft desktop products work this way.

There may be a way or hack to keep the screen off.

I have a blackjack paired with my mini. I noticed the same issue immediately. The only thing I can think of is everytime there is bluetooth activity, sync or data the screen activiates because it does so when ever there is "user activity".
