Navigation & Audio Calling All Verizon Users!
So, did you get that phone?
Does it work?
Inquiring MINI minds want to know!
I went to the Verizon Wireless Store yesterday to hold the Motorola Q9C and look sad and pitiful hoping that some weathly philantropist or ne'er-do-well socialite heiress would see me and sympathetically purchase the phone for me. Unfortunately this particular Verizon Wireless store is right next to an AT&T Wireless store and that weathly philanthropist/socialite heiress was probably already tapped out purchase iPhones for similarly pathetically pinning people next door. So after about two hours of looking sad and homeless, being circled by store detectives, and being asked repeatedly if "There was something we could help you with", I decided to play around with the phone to figure out what difference there was between them. Here's what I found. If you go
Start >> Bluetooth >> Bluetooth Manager >> Settings >> Menu >> About
On the Motorola Q9M the Software Version is 1.8.5 Build 600
Do the same thing on the Motorola Q9C and the Sofware Version is 1.8.5 Build 800
Don't know why a build difference of 200 would do it, but it does.
The only other difference was the Radio Version was a little newer. I didn't write down the version on the Q9C at the time, but I'll find it.
Start >> Settings >> More ... >> More ... >> About
Motorola Q9M Radio Version: NL-BP_C_03.20.29P, Nelson Protable P3
Motorola Q9C Radio Version: NL-BP_C_03.20.2[XX], Nelson Protable P3
All I remember is that the [XX] was like 2E5 or 2F5 or something like that. Very small incremental change. I think the Bluetooth Build number is the critical difference.

Moto W755
My Verizon Moto W755 paired and worked great when transitioning from an old RAZR. I was having problems with the phone ringing through the speakers in the car, though.
Tonight, I discovered the issue: The phone will ring through the speakers IF THE PHONE IS SET TO VIBRATE! It happened on an incoming call tonight, and I tested it again when I arrived at home. Turning the ringer volume up on the phone's handset will cut the stereo out and ring through the phone itself, but will not ring through the speakers.
Any Moto W755 users with my problem should try adjusting the phone volume as described above. It should work fine after that.
