So this kit from newministuff makes your R56 just as if you had the factory bluetooth? Not only can you use the MFSW to make calls, but it also shows you who's calling on the stereo display? Can you tell us what different things we need to order from newministuff?

There is no display of the caller's number on the stereo. The only difference, besides that, is the presence of the small 3 button Parrot controller. I only use the controller to pair a phone and for general setup. For all other functions (answer, hang up and volume control) I use the MFSW. Overall, I am very satisfied. Also, the directions were straightforward, but be warned, there are a lot of parts to be removed. It is not difficult if you are patient. If you are near Philly, I am sure my friend would install it for a reasonable amount.

Send Mikey the Mini (newministuff's owner) an email. He is very helpful.

I think my daughter needs an educational visit to see the liberty bell.

I am in New Hope, which is 40 minutes from Philadelphia. I'll send Mikey a message and see what is involved from the parts side of this.

So the closest one can get to the factory bluetooth is with this parrot ck3100 module which allows you to use the MFSW to answer calls, but does not show the display of who's calling on the stereo? I thought they also made one that showed the number on display on the stereo.

Hey guys,

I just got a Parrot 3100 in the mail from newministuff. The instructions remind me of install instructions I got a couple years ago from Crutchfield.com for my new stereo for my old Honda Civic Si - I upgraded the stereo myself in that, but this may be more of a challenge just looking at the complexity of the dash. I'll be installing it on Saturday afternoon. I'll snap some photos along the way and post them for your viewing pleasure.

Did mine a while back - not that bad but you do need to take much of the dash apart! I put the modules behind the speedo.
