Sorry for this dumb question but I'm not all that iPod savvy - my only one is an old 3rd gen.

I ordered the iPod adapter w/ my 08 MCS. It's clear that any "normal" iPod will work with this, but could I instead use an iPod touch?

It just seems to me that if I'm going to buy a new iPod it might as well have 16 GB and really excellent screen w/ wireless access.

Will the adapter hold this in place nicely while I corner hard?

My iPhone basically works OK with the first gen factory iPod adaptor - just rarely it'll think the iPhone has disconnected and go back to radio, but re-selecting iPod works.
I'd bet the R56 "second gen" works fine with iPhone and iTouch.

 

Works fine with the iPod Touch.
I have no connectivity problems with mine.

I did get it at Princeton Mini. It's a small setup there compared to Prestige Mini, but they're close and I loved the service.

You're not too far off from me. We've been thinking of doing a gtg in the Hboro/Somerville area. May might be a good month to start.
