Problems with Alpine iDA-X001 and MFSW

I recently purchased this harness from newminstuff
http://www.newministuff.com/new/shop...ductshow&id=80
I am not able to get the mfsw working. I plugged everything up and nothing happens.
The radio works fine but I dont know how to hook up the mfsw input to the actual black box that is attached to the harness.
So far there is only two harnesses coming out of the black box. One leads to a plug that goes to the back of the radio, and the other harness coming out goes partially into the radio harness for power and the remaing 4? wires goes to a little pcb board (size of a pinky nail) that is srink wrapped. Plus there is no led on the black box.
I have sent emails to the companys new orders email address and technical help address with no reply. I guess there busy? I guess ordering from a US distributor would of helped since calling them would be easier. Anyways Just curious if anyone has installed this particular kit?

you only need to tap a single wire. I put a 3M ScotchLock on it and put a spade on the wire from the black box. I used a PAC adaptor - look up on their site...the instructions are there about which wire (grey/yellow stripe? I honestly can't remember and this pic isn't so clear).

thanks for the info. I will search their site to see if I can apply that to the box that newministuff sent me. I wish they would send some instructions on how to hook up their box with the mfsw
Also from previous emails with newministuff they said everything was plug in play with their harness including the mfsw. Thats the only reason why I paid for their harness instead of others. I sent them an email Sunday afternoon and still no reply.

Also just to get an idea.......has anyone purchased one of these harness from newministuff?
If so please post and let me know......also pictures of your harness would be great
I am starting to think my harness wasnt wired up properly and there is one wire missing from the main harness going into the mfsw adaptor.

i have "PAC SWI-Jack" for the mfsw (Kenwood HU, i don't have the model # for that unit with me), but I can't get it to work. Someone told me that the led has to be able to see the receiver and that could be the reason why it's not working. So i believe this adaptor sends an RF signal.

Does anyone have another recommendation? I would like to use my MFSW.
What Head Unit is compatible with the OEM hookup?
If using an aftermarket HU, am I required to use an adapter?

I have an '06 MCS. Please let me know if you need any additional info.
