Factory CD changer compatibility
Hello guys, wondering about something. I have a factory cd changer, which as far i know is Alpine. If i install an Alpine headunit, will the changer work with it? MP3s are good, but i like the quality of the audio cds sometimes! Has anybody done it?
So I take it you have the OEM tape player, and not the CD?
Any reason you wouldn't just load the CD changer with the audio CDs?
Can't definitively answer your question, but the IntraveeII uses an Alpine KCA-420i to 'translate' info from the ipod to the head unit via the CD changer cables, so it's likely that it will work.
In the US we only have the 'Boost' system, so not sure if things are different over there.
