Questions regarding installing Blitzsafe and antenna

Hello
I am going to install a Blitzsafe adapter and XM tuner this weekend and I have a couple of questions regarding installation on a 2005 MCS with a sunroof.

1. Where are you installing the antenna?
2. How do you run the wiring from the roof down to the tuner and blitzsafe box?
3. I prefer not to run the wire through the FM antenna grommet

Pics greatly appreciated!

There should be a thread somewhere in here that covers how to do it in less then 30 minutes and not need any tools. Basically you put the antenna behind the FM antenna. Run the wire through the trunk harness grommet (simply pop it out and run the wire through). You can then put the grommet back in with the wire between the body and grommet. You then just pull the headliner down a bit and can grab the wire and pull it through the C-pillar where it meets the XM Direct in the compartment with the changer wiring.

Fortunately the XM antenna is small enough that when you open the trunk, it clears the antenna. So there's no clearance issues with it right behind the FM antenna.

Yes, just pull it off along the top and you can pull the headliner down a few inches to get the wire through.

I originally put my XM antenna on the roof, but took it off. It made some small scratches when it moved. I now have it on the front dash right up next to the windshield. It is not supposed to work there, but it does work just fine. Nothing on the outside to scratch the paint or even be visible. The antenna wire just runs inside the panels (next to the Dice cable) to the Blitzsafe in the rear. It only took about 20 minutes to put it in.
