can someone help me on a part number or descriptions for the wiring harness... im tying to install an indash... i went to a local stereo shop and the sold me one that doesnt look correct... they said the got it from there parts book and told me all bmw harnesses are the same... IS THAT CORRECT? PLEASE HELP pt number is like BW4700 but doestshow up when i search it

 

I'd call around to some other places, or PM Mike the Mini (he's really good on Mini audio stuff) or EAS (a vendor here that does audio integration...)
