Alpine AM band.

I’m sorry if this is a duplicate post. I thought I posted this earlier today but I couldn’t find the post.

We recently had to replace the factory Alpine stereo in out 2005 Mini Cooper S after our 2 year old used it as a piggy bank.

We purchased a radio from E-Bay and it work great with exception of the AM band. Apparently this radios AM band is set for is a European or Canadian as the Am stations are 9 KHz apart as opposed t0 the US settings of 10 KHZ apart.

I was noted in a message from 2004 that this could be changed by going into service mode. Does anyone have any information about how to change the radio?

Thanks In Advance
Joe
