Alpine Radio AM Band

Recently we needed to replace the OEM Alpine radio in our 2005 Mini Cooper S because my 2 year old used it as a piggy bank . The replacement that we purchased off EBay works like a charm but the AM band is set to ether Canada or European bands as it move up and down 9 KHz. A found a post from 2004 that said that this can be changed with the Radio in service mode. Any help in getting this changed to US standards would be a great help.
Thanks
Joe

Joe,

You should repost this in the first generation forum. This one is for 2007 and 2008 models.
