Can the Roady be taken out of its dock without too much trouble to bring inside?
Having both the Sportscaster and the Roady in my other cars I can say that the buttons on the Roady are definately nice but then so is the low profile of the Sprotscaster.

I don't take it out of the car, since I have an old Delphi that I use for the house, but you can remove it without a problem.

I like the Sportscaster install, and if I had it to do over again I might go that way. The buttons are nice but the one big button on the Sportscaster is easier to find. The remote is nice, too, though I promptly lost the one that came with the S'caster I have in my BMW.

Thanks.
Not that it matters much, but I did find out that both the Roady and Sportscaster remotes are optical, and thus won't operate a unit contained in the secret compartment with the door closed.

Here is that one installed in my Clubman with the Kuda mount. The install was a temporary one with the lighter plug adaptor. I am getting it hardwired next week.

I put a RoadyXT in the cubby.
I like it there. If I really want to see what's on I can.
It's not too obvious down there to passers by.

Does that block access to the CD player and did you need any additional hardware from Kuda?

Only when it is in the dock and just barely. It doesn't really affect it much as I'm usually not listening to the XM while inserting a CD. A quick pull up on the XM and it is out of the way. Not to mention that between my 160gb iPod, XM, and HD radio, I don't listen to CD's very much anymore.

A couple of questions: Did you use the Kuda 092445 base and the HH1637 XM T plate? It's what looks right to me. Also wonder if you used the sat antenna connection under the seat and if you connected the radio output to the AUX connecter. Thanks for any guidance you can give.
