RJKimbell, what cable are you using to connect your ipod to the connector? Is it the ipod/usb cable that came with your ipod from apple, or is it a cable that was supplied with your car from mini (a Y-cable where you plug one end into the ipod, and the other 2 ends into the mini usb and audio jack)? Does anyone have a picture of this cable? I'm overseas and bought my car through a military sales program, so I don't have a sales agent to call who has a good knowledge of what should have come with the car. If anyone has a number for a good dealer I can speak with, please let me know. Thanks.

For those who think the cable supplied by mini is not that great . I found this.

I do not know for sure it will work with our stereo's but I would imagine the pin outs on dock connector have to be the same.

We are using the Y-cable supplied with the car, this is an option (Convenience Pkg.) The cable is currently installed on the car, not easy to remove/re-install becuase of its location.
Here are the #s off of the bag the cable came in:

THanks for the update, I did not receive a cable with my convenience package. My MA is looking into the issue, but I don't think I will have it resolved to my liking. We'll see. I'm curious to see if the Kenwood cable will work, if so I'll order it.
