So, you didn't get the upgraded stereo?

Welcome to NAM

Good luck the head unit is integrated with the speedo i think i have seen it done once somewhere *srugg*
If you just want Tvs in your mini why don't you get them in the visors and headrests? What it sounds like to me is you had this in a single or double din in your previous car (Honda, Nissan, or, Chevy) and now (since you've spent the money on it all ready) you want to stick it in the mini's dash. So you know it probably won't work. But we at NAM suggest the trail blazer attitude so make sure you take ALOT of pictures during the install. I myself am somewhat curious how it will turn out as well.

Technically the head unit is already Alpine...whether it's the Hi-Fi system or not...but that's just me being a smart-a$$...that and i'm almost at 100 posts so why not make it closer?

EDIT: Someone else had a thread where they put an aftermarket one IN the dash padding on the passenger side. Not sure where that thread went.

i just really wish there was some way to get an aftermarket system like the cleansweep which you could hook up an ipod to and display through the factory display.
