02-06 MINI Cooper Fiberglass Subwoofer Enclosures Are Here!!

As some of you may have seen we just released our 10 inch Perfect Fit Subwoofer Enclosure for the 02 - 06 Mini Cooper's, there's a couple of threads in the Vendor section with details of the enclosures and the deals offered but thought we'd post here as well to answer any questions along the way.

A member here (j.p.)was nice enough to loan us his Mini while we designed the original, and then again once we had a working model to take pics of so a big thanks goes out to him for the help.

Here's some pics and a quick breakdown of the new enclosure.

Does the box secure with any type of hardware? Like bolts or straps? It looks nice and small. Does part of the box go inside the rear hidden hatch area?

There is a small threaded stud that is behind the factory access cover (the factory amp mounts to it) shown here.

We supply a threaded coupler and rod, basically extending the threads into the cargo/enclosure area.

The new length of rod aligns with our pre-drilled mounting hole in the enclosure, using the supplied rubber, metal and locking washers the enclosure is tightened down and sealed up.

None of the enclosure actually protrudes into or behind the factory panel. The enclosures terminal cup also is there, so running the speaker wire behind the factory panel and out the access panel works well for a stealthy hook up.

I know this is super old but can someone help me with some info?
When installing a sub in a 2005 mcs, can you just use the factory amp?
I'm installing a 10" kicker.
