Alright, now that you have another thread with the Zune/iPod comparison, how about my setup?

Can I use an ICE:Link or something similar with the XM connected?

If I were you, I'd post the question about using the DICE (which is the new version of the ICE-Link) along with your XM setup over in the EAS topic. Tom would be the one to know the answer to that I'd imagine (unless you've already done that and I'm just not up on the info - you'll have to forgive me as my head's still spinning from all the bashes it took from the iPod folks ).

2006 MINI and iPod Classic w/ dealer-installed interface

Hey there, first post--got an iPod Classic 80 almost two weeks ago, had dealer install interface past week and no one can get the Classic to work--tried it with 2 Classics and neither worked, though my salesman hooked up his older iPod and it worked right away. Back to dealer yesterday all day, no progress thus far. Do I need to take back my Classic and get a lesser/older model or is there a way (firmware, for instance, like I even know what that is) to get this to work? Thanks, appreciate the forum here.

iPod Classic now working

I mentioned before that dealer-installed interface was not working with iPod Classic in my 2006 MINI Cooper S though would work with other iPods. I took it back, as a last resort they switched out interfaces and now it works--sound is awesome!
