Hello all,

I've had my 2008 MCS on order for six weeks now but suddenly had a thought: The car is pretty loaded with options and I plan on upgrading to an after-market stereo system immediately... Do I have to be careful with the Hi-Fi amplifier. I seem to recall that I can't remove it because it controls a bunch of other functions.

Any help greatly appreciated...

I ended up changing my order and killing the Hi-Fi option. Limited information was available and some of it indicated possible problems if I removed the Hi-Fi amp. See this thread for more info:
