Navigation & Audio SIRIUS Sportster 5
Just a heads up to share some pics for those who care. I did (with helpful responses from folks here), get our Sportster 5 mounted in a fairly nice/clean way.
One pic is just the cockpit area and then a blow up of two angles on the Sportster 5. I have it mounted on a proclip without the swivel base mount. Its in such a great position already that I just drilled appropriate holes in the ProClip and picked up some screws that would accommodate the additional thickness. As you can see things went well. You really can't see anything of the cabling which runs behind the Sportster into the top of the downtube and along the interior.
The Antenna cable (linked in my earlier post) then continues under the side trim of the center console as you can (not) see in the top left of the other pic. The wire you do see in that is an 1/8th inch cable for iPods. The bottom right shows the tiny bit of antenna line showing at the base of the passenger seat, which is fairly easy to conceal even more completely. The top right and bottom left of the second pic show bits of how the power is hardwired using a DirectedElectronics Sirius vehicle kit (there are other ways to do that yes, but this seemed a fairly clean/easy way.
Third pic is just two views of our sweet little ride
Anyway, thanks, guys! Loving our Mini (Pepper White, black roof)! Now to hardwire our Garmin using an Add-a-Circuit

Try Ebay: Visit seller's Store:

Does anyone have a photo of the actual point where the extension cable connects to the box under the seat? I have a few "boxes" on the underside of my passenger seat and I want to ensure I'm opening the correct one. Thanks in advance
