ok, so i know that it is not a supported upgrade, but other than the wiring differences is there any thing stopping this upgrade?

because of the location of the h/k wiring i was going to ignore the surrond switch and that means all of the wiring is in the trunk, correct?

does anyone have pictures of the plugs involved, h/k amp plugs and dpsm in and out plugs?

I'm perplexed... by the title of the thread, it sounds like you are trying to convert from the DPSM into the H/K. Is that correct? If so, I'm curious to know why...

If you meant the opposite, let me know and I can rename the thread the other way.

As for the process itself, if you're comfortable with "jury-rigging" it to work, I'm sure it can be done, but others (especially GBMINI) will be of more help to you. However, if you want to do it the "official" way (i.e. with all of the OEM-supported wiring), then it's not something I'd recommend shooting for. I gather you've seen my thread on it (as I'm doing exactly that right now). It's really a ridiculous project!
