DICE/ XM install HELP!!!!

SOS. Got into it and have two problems relatively early. I got the HU out no problem and got th OEM iPod adapter out. However, I can't see what to plug it back into. There is a DIN connector that was attacted from the radio to the OEM adapter but I don't see where to plug it in to anything. There is a white wire box that is free but on the wiring bundle but don't see where to plug it in to anything. Is the DIN ended cable part of the original setup or is i part of the Ipod connector?

Also, decided to go to the boot to make sure the CD harness was there but couldn't figure out how to get the rear trim panel off. All I see is one screw that I think I've read is actually a snap connector. HELP!

Got a little further. Found out that the DIN connector is part of the iPod kit and that the white wire box is part of it and I guess the other one is the one for the trunk CD changer so I switched those outs. Now I am trying to find out how to get the 'loose' wires out of the box that attaches to the back of the HU. I pulled the little blue sliding brace out of the box but still have no ideas how to get them out. Help?

Also, still don't know how to get the trunk lining out of the boot :(

My big problem now is figuring out how to removed the four wires from the iPod DIN cable that are attached to the back of the headunit and then extract the original four wires from the black 4 prong connector so I can plug them back into the back of the headunit. I've read about metal tabs to release the wires from the headunit but I can't figure out how they work. I haven't seen anywhere how to get the original wiring harness wires out of the connector supplied with the kit.

I haven't done exactly what you're asking before, but as far as the metal tabs, etc... if it's what I think it is, when you look closely at it, there is a 1-way catch that you have to lift up to release the wires out.

It might help to take pictures of it?

In the OEM installation instructions that Tom sent me, it shows a tool for removing the speaker wires. Is there anything I can use instead of this tool. I have the blue clip out and now just have the wires in the block. Here's pictures of the wires in the radio block and the four socket connector that I need to extract ...

Don't have a macro lense, sorry for the fuzzy pictures. Hope this gives an idea.
