My NAV Screen Is Screwing Up :(

Has anyone else had this problem? It's stuck on the "Accept" screen, and nothing makes a bit of difference.

I've stopped and re-started the engine, which helps when the screen gets "stuck" from time to time while switching directories on my iPod (I had the iPod installer put in at the port). I've tried selecting other screens using the joystick and buttons, but nothing.

I can still use Bluetooth and change songs on my iPod using the steering wheel controls, and select different radio stations once the iPod has been disconnected.

My service appoinment is for Monday. Today is Wednesday. I can't go nearly a week without being able to access NAV. :(

try disconnecting the battery for 20 mins then try it.

Although if that clears the issue, then mabey they will not be able to help you at the dealer if they can not see the problem.

I've been stuck on the "Accept" screen a couple of times, but so far, stopping and restarting has fixed things. I think I'll try to avoid your version of the software!

This has nothing to do with an Ipod. I've had it happen to me three times since picking my car up in mid-April. Happened for the third time on Sunday.

Each time, I have stopped the car for five minutes or so and it has cleared itself up. Simply switching the ignition on and off hasn't worked any of the times.

Pop the Navigation DVD out, check it for scratches and/or smudges. Clean if able. If not able to clean or the DVD looks ok, it is back to the dealer you go.
