ok, you guys save me the trouble of reading all these threads, and just tell me simply .. if I want satellite radio, nothing to fancy, where do I start? Do I have to have dealer install or are there sort of 'plug and play' versions. As you can see I'm clueless, I just want a simple inexpensive (not cheap) solution. Point me in the right direction please

 

I'm researching the same thing, and here is what I've found to be the 'simplest' way to go.

Go to best buy, pick a reciever that you like, pay between $40 and $100 for it, and pay another ~ $75 for them to install it.

Slightly less simple, but still really simple, is to go to siriusspecials.com, pick a receiver with auto kit, and order it. Then get the aux input from outmotoring, and install everything yourself. Will cost less than having bestbuy do it, will keep the bestbuy guys from messing up your car, and will give you a better sound quality (the aux input is better than the fm modulator the best buy guy will use)
