I just finished installing the DPSM kit in my '06 MCS. Before reinstalling all the interior panels, etc., I tested the system and it worked exactly as advertised. After reassembly, that same day, the system worked correctly.

Now, a day later, the system is funky in a not good way. The right front speakers are not fuctioning in either regular or surround modes. The left front speakers work only in surround mode. The fader works correctly but the balance is backwards (right is left, left is right) for the fronts only. The rears function as they are supposed to in either mode.

Any hints, help, or suggestions?

I am going to pull the radio and check the connections there. After that, I think the next logical place to look is in the front doors. After that, I am not sure...


UPDATE: It seems I may have a bad DPSM Amp. The sound returns to the right front speaker after the amp has wamed. I verified this by waiting until the amp peromed correctly and using damp towels cooled the amp and restarted the system, sure enough the speaker was out again. I can repeat this. Now, off to the dealer...
