Hands-free bluetooth phone system sought by hearing impaired driver.
I need a loud, easy to set up and easy to use bluetooth hands-free phone system for late build 06 mcs cabrio. Ditching factory $1250.00 system. I have a Ph.D. in the wrong field. Need something very simple and reliable.
This will likely be the standard recommendation:

If you can hear the radio you can hear the handsfree, it plays through the cars stereo and it has a volume ****. Just turn it to the right and it gets louder.

Anyway, hearing aids do make it more difficult. I have played with the factory and the Parrot EVO and sound wise you are not going to get any better. The problem is the MINI IMHO... It is a rather "loud" car and may be making it harder to hear.
What tires are on your car right now? My Dunlops are so loud that I don't bother taking a call at speed however, with my Pirelle winter tires I can with no problems.
Getting new Dunlop Sport non-runflats from a dealer. Problem?
Are non-runflat Dunlop Sports loud? Problem is also that it is a cabrio. I want something that works reliably more than sound, because I can hear with my aides with the top and windows up.
Not sure.... You might try the Parrot system. I would send and e-mail to Mikey and see if he will work with you. Perhaps he might let you try the system and if you are not satisfied, you can return it. Worth asking.
