haha no that was not a shot at you. just personally i dont like to back out of a deal. cause one...i do it too often and feel bad for backing out. and two...im a cheapo. if i see something for cheap ill jump on it. even if it's in used condition. (as long as i have the money of course)
but i mean. i DO buy new stuff of course. im just the kind of person that doesnt mind used stuff.
but if the dension doesnt work out too well..(*crossing fingers* hoping it does work well..) then i'll probably go for the dice. after i accumulate some more money for modding for my mini. cause buying the $150 dice compared to the cheap dension..i'd go with the dension. and i can always sell it.

but thanks much for the info (back and forth talking between you two) to tom @ eas and daflake

I talked to the guy and told him I would take it but promply (15 minutes later) told him I was out after reading about the many problems that unit had with 04's and NAV. Plus the wife came down on me because I had to pay my fist speeding ticket the same day.

Tom,
what are some mounting options if I choose to go with the docking cable???
Could I still use a proclip mount???I would like to mount the Ipod into a Proclip type mount...

IMHO - I would hide the iPod and perform all control with the steering wheel/radio since you have text display. If you wish to go with a mounting system, here are the parts you would need, assuming you have an icelink cradle setup:

DICE BlackOut iPod Dock Connector Cable

DICE iPod Cradle w/ Video Support
http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...roducts_id=269

ProClip Angled Mount, Low - Mini Cooper (853580)
http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...roducts_id=229

Let me know if you have any further questions.
