Welll, I know that somewhere along the line, I have seen some really nice pics of a rear speaker install, but now I can't find them anywhere. Maybe it was a seperate website, not too sure. If anyone has any ideas, please post them, as I plan on doing this this weekend. Thanks

Here's a great site of pictures.

Basically, you need to remove the back seats first. Do a search for the specifics, but you only need to remove one bolt and then both seat backs can be removed and the bottom cushion just pulls out. Now remove the pop rivets in the boot floor area holding down the side panels. Then unplug the light on the right (and the power socket on the left if a 2002) and pull off the back side panels. Start at the bottom and then keep pulling until all the inside rivets have released and the seat back mounting anchor has been cleared. There is a row of clips just under the rear side windows that should be left for last.

After doing all that, you get to a speaker like this (this is HK):

You can see here I accessed without removing the rear seats & panel - just peeled it back at the door frame end. But not recommended because it is stiff and does not want to stay peeled back.
I have since gone through the complete removal process and it is not bad - but some of the yellow clips did not survive; I need to get more from MINI Peabody (it looks to me like some were damaged before I got to the car).
