The notice said something about a Autocross intro. But that is all I know so far. As it gets closer to August 1st we should know plenty more. I set up my email for automatic updates to the event so that when new details emerge I will know.
There will be a rally as well, however they haven't posted the route yet. but I am assuming it ends at the Rose Bowl since that is where the festivities will be.
I just registered today. Hopefully my wife will come with me, we could drive down a few days early, see the sights and visit some old stomp'n grounds. Looking forward to meeting all of you.
I'm excited, loved it in 2006. I have registered but am still trying to free up time to go. I just hope I don't have to be paying $5/gal for the trip, as I have to drive 10 hours just to get there. Should be fun!
I did the Monterey to SB leg of MTTS the first time around, and now I've gotta convince my family to go again, because I don't wanna have to drive to SoCal in my car by myself. I've got enough time between now and August to suck up enough...
I had a blast the first time around, I just hope it'll be even better this time!
I'm going. Not sure if I'm taking the 03 or the classic. It'll depend on if my wife attends. 5 months pregnant, she refuses to do the trip in the classic with no AC.
Realized this thread has been pretty quiet. We're currently planning for both Wisconsin and LA - unfortunately the classic doesn't fit in the overhead bin so we'll be Miniless for the LA trip.
Registered. I'll be there Sunday only (sans Mini - I won't be able to pick up Winthrop till the following week). Will likely show up on distant cousin Gunther (R1200RT).
Me and scuzzlepook are going.. She is bringing her 07 JCW , I have not yet decided if Im bring the Clubman or GP... decisions, decisions...HHmmm
HI Azminiman, do you know of any efforts getting a PHX-LAX caravan going for MTTS? I'm going, and a coworker is probably going in her MINI, but I think she's more comfortable in a caravan-type trip. BTW, we met at the Paseo Hills parking lot once when we were both picking up our daughters after school from their tutoring jobs. Haven't seen you around anywhere since then.

Hey Larry, I remember that. I live around 37th N Happy Valley. But travel alot. In Nebraska as it type. We do have a group going over on Friday afternoon. Some going on Thursday. You should come to our Ice cream night sunday out in gilbert and meet more of our group. ( we change citys every month ) road trip for us this month. Check out our club site for more more info.
Is it just me or is there absolutely no information posted about the LA MTTS at miniusa.com? I would think that since its getting closer that there would be something posted about it. Maybe I am just missing something.

that's what's keeping me from registering. a big car show would be fun, but form something like this i'd like something more special
i'm assuming you'll need to bring a helmet to do autox? there's no track in pasadena (closest is the irwindale speedway oval), but rose bowl has a HUGE parking lot

They're just getting ready to post "Chicago" info so L.A. shouldn't be to far ahead.
Does anyone know approx. what time the festivities will start on Friday night? I'm trying to decide if we're gonna have dinner before we leave or if we should just swing by downtown Pasadena on our way to the Rose Bowl.
