I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Don for his recent help. Like a few others here, I’d originally bought my tuner file from MTH-USA. And like many others I found their service useless, and was left high and dry when they “disappeared”.After I few mods to my mini (pulley, cat back, CAI), I needed an update, so I emailed Darren @ MTH in Germany who put me in touch with Don.
In less than a week (and over the thanksgiving holidays no less), I had an updated tuner file courtesy of Don.
I was incredibly impressed with Don’s response, especially seeing as he wasn’t involved in the original sale.

Thanks again Don – you rock!

+1 from me too! Don warned that MTH Germany was having some computer problems, but they must have been resolved quickly because I received my Tuner file in one business day (Sent late Friday, had it early Tuesday).

So? Tell us, how is the new upgrade? What mods do you have now? How does it compare to the older mods and softwear?

 

Glad to hear it! I have heard little negative about the MTH product but plenty on service quality. Its evident that DON knows about cars and service quality.

 

Uprade: So far so good.
Mods: Miltek cat back, Dinan CAI, 15% pulley. The old mods were basically a K&N panel filter and a oneball exhaust.
Drives much better, pulls harder at lower revs, a noticeable increase in torque. Although I haven’t been able to give it a really good working out due to a bunch of snow & ice here in Seattle, not something we see often, and I don’t trust all those folks in SUVs. The mini does fine tho!
