Just curious, what will happen if I gave incorrect fuel octane to MTH? Will it damage the engine or ....? anyone?

If you did give an incorrect number don't you think you ought to address your question directly to MTH rather the forum?
The answer to your question is it all depends if the octane number you gave is lower or higher than the number you are using.

I want to clear this doubt before purchasing the MTH Tuner file. Want to know will it damage anything if I quote the incorrect fuel octane. Sorry, I searched everywhere but can't found the answer.

Damage is only possible if you run a lower octane than planned the map is designed. This is the case, MTH or not.
