correct cable for MTH?

with regards to the cable, does anyone knows if the USB or the COM version works better? thanks.

 

Should work the same if you have both ports as far as I know. The COM is supposedly easier to setup and can be extended cheaply and without loss of signal, whereas the USB is more expensive and less able to be extended in length (if you arent using a laptop). Many newer PCs dont have COM ports though.

 

That is correct. I have used both (on the same machine but not at the same time ) with success.
