ASC - mod in V7. Is it there?

Hi. I`ve been running the V7 tuner /header combo for a while now. Power, sound and driveability is everything I could hope for. But from my point of view, the ASC is more sensitive now than before the upgrade. Accelerating from a standing start at WOT usually triggers the ASC in a rather annoying way - resulting in a total loss of street cred. I have to flip the ASC-switch whenever the tarmac is slightly cold or wet, and this is in a Non S. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it possible that ASC - sensitivity has not been reduced in my file?

Did you notice the ASC/DSC kicking in more often immediately after uploading the MTH file? Conversely, how many miles did you go after uploading the MTH V7 Tuner files before you realized that ASC/DSC was becoming more intrusive? Have you checked the condition of your tire treads lately?

Just trying to obtain a clearer understanding of your situation to help you in any way possible.

Yeah, I would say so. But it`s of course colder now, and if the V7 added some torque down rpm, the combination of less traction and more ommph might be enough to trigger the ASC. Due to Volker all files have the ASC-mod, so I guess I have to continue to flip that ASC-switch.

I wonder though - if the S has the same threshold for ASC kicking in. I thought the ASC would accept some wheelspin, and just use the brakes to send power to the wheel with most traction. But when one of my wheels start to spin, engine cuts so much power it feels like if I unawarly hit the brake for a moment. Since I dont have a compressor to torque me up in speed again, I just can`t take the chance to let that ASC ruin my day .

yeah, well... our cars do that.. with all the mods on my car first gear is useless unless you feather it.. 2nd is a little better.. can still make the tires chirp.. 3rd is a little more difficult to spin tires.. etc.... Dsc/Asc kicks in in first and second if you drive like you stole it..
